Police Looking For Robber Of Mon Asian Grocery (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Police are looking for the man who robbed a local Asian Grocery store at gunpoint Wednesday around 4:30 p.m.

According to police, a black male entered the Mon Asian Grocery in the 3000 block of S. Calhoun brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The man fled the store on foot.

Customers and employees in the store when the robbery reported no injuries.

Investigators have obtained store surveillance footage of the incident and they are seeking the public’s help in identifying him. The perpetrator is described as a black male, having a short-trimmed beard, and having a slender build; he was last seen wearing a ball cap, and light-colored shirt.

Anyone with information as to the identity or whereabouts of this individual is asked to call police at (260) 427-1201, or Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-STOP [7867] where a cash reward is possible for information received.
