Auburn, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The Auburn Police Department is joining other departments from around the state to stop two suspects who are believed to have already stolen over 12,000 in merchandise just from Wal-Mart alone.

Police say the two suspects are in possession of a “Spider Key,” allowing them unsecured access to items protected by the Spider Security System. The two seem to be mainly target the PC game Diablo 3 but has since moved on to other PC games and Microsoft Office.

Det. Stacy Sexton of the Auburn Police Department says, “Through July and August, and now September, they hit approximately twenty stores throughout the state of Indiana, all the way as far south as Indianapolis.”

If anyone recognizes either of the two suspects or their vehicle, a black BMW, anyone that has information is asked to please call (260) 920-3200 ext 1922.
