Power Restored Along West Jefferson

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Power is restored after a transformer went down in the 5600 block of West Jefferson Sunday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. Sunday power lines were reported down. Police officers arrived and found a transformer down and power lines close to falling. AEP and Indiana Michigan Power have been notified. Live wires were reported to be down around 2:10 p.m.

Power went out for neighboring homes, apartments and businesses. Police were helping direct traffic at intersections along West Jefferson and near Southbend Drive.
