Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The youth vote is going to play a big role in the upcoming November elections and that’s why several dozen pro-life students and about a dozen pro-choice protesters attended the "I Vote Pro-Life First" campus tour at IPFW on Wednesday.
The multi-state tour encourages students to vote for pro-life local, state and federal candidates in the upcoming November election.
Students that attended the rally signed a pledge to make ending abortion their number one priority.
Brendan O'morchoe with Students for Life of America said, “If our elected candidates, if our leaders, cannot or will not stand up for the most vulnerable and defenseless members of our society, how can we trust them with anything else?"
Becky Rogness of Allen County Right to Life said, “The students are our next generation and future leaders themselves. They're voters and they're energized and they are excited."
Wednesday night at 7:30, IPFW's Women's Studies Program will host a lecture and book signing by Michelle Goldberg, who authored the pro-choice book "the Means of Reproduction."
