Puppies Freeze To Death After Litter Is Abandoned At Shelter After Hours

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two puppies froze to death after someone dropped a litter of puppies off at the Terre Haute Humane Society after hours on Saturday.

A volunteer stopped by to check on things Saturday and found the litter, according to WIBQ. Two of the puppies had frozen to death and the four others were in poor health.

The four surviving dogs are recovering and will be up for adoption. Authorities are looking for those responsible.
