FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The average electricity bill for an Indiana Michigan customer could jump by $20.00 a month if the utility gets an increase it's asking for.
I&M wants to raise rates to help cope with increasing operating costs. They're proposing raising the rates by 22%.
For the typical ratepayer, that's an increase of $20.00 a month.
Commissioners and I&M officials will not be able to answer any questions but the public is invited to submit their oral and written comments about the rate increase.
I'll tell you what people had to say tonight on Indiana's NewsCenter.
