Red Cross Holds Annual Humanitarian Award

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana held its 2011 Humanitarian Award Luncheon Tuesday. The annual event honors an individual for his or her work in human services and the community.

Mark Hagerman, owner of Hagerman Construction, has spent decades of volunteer hours with several organizations.

Also a "Youth" Humanitarian Award went to Homestead Sophomore, Alison Mansfield. Who created the non-profit, Operation U.S. Troop Support when she was only 10.

Indiana NewsCenter’s Evening Anchor Linda Jackson served as emcee for the event.
