Reed Street Victim Shot Multiple Times, Remains Hospitalized

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Reed Street victim remains hospitalized and in serious condition after Wednesday's shooting.

Police say the victim, 23-year-old Cedric West, got into an argument with the shooter at a gas station who then followed him to his home in the 3300 block of Reed Street around eight o'clock Wednesday evening.

The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot West two to three times in the lower torso area. West was sent to the hospital in serious condition.

The suspect, described as a black man in his 20's, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, fled the scene heading southbound on foot.

The shooting remains under investigation.
