DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Indiana State Police are investigating a one vehicle crash that left a 27-year-old Auburn man dead.
Authorities say it was just after 9 a.m. Monday when DeKalb County Police were called to a home on County Road 51 for a service call.
The deputy was able to make contact with Casey A. May inside the home, the officer says suddenly May ran into the garage, got into a Jeep and drove through the closed garage door, hitting the deputy's patrol car as it fled the home. The Jeep continued on CR51, and stuck a tree head on and caught fire near CR56.
