Saunders Changes Plea To Guilty For 2013 Crash (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The man set to be on trial for reckless homicide in a 2013 crash on US 30 changed his plea today, to guilty.

Scott Saunders, 50, a Wisconsin truck driver who plowed into a group of stopped vehicles at the intersection of Doyle Rd. and US 30, that resulted in the death of two women.

Saunders was initially facing 16 criminal charges for the incident and pleaded guilty to eight charges today in court. 65-year-old Suzanne Stephenson from Monroeville and 43-year-old Sandra Dealey of convoy were killed as a result of the crash in January of 2013.
