Second Anderson K-9 Officer Shot And Killed In A Month

Anderson, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- For the second time within a month the Anderson Police Department has lost a K-9 officer.

K-9 Magnum was shot in pursuit of a bank robbery suspect over the weekend.

Earlier this month Kilo was shot and killed in a standoff in Pendleton.

Officials estimate that loosing both dogs could cost the department any where from $20-25,000.
