Semi Hits Pole, Takes Out Power

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A power outage on St. Joe Center Road left more than 2,000 residents without power, tonight.

A semi took down a power pole near the intersection of St. Joe Center Road and Maplecrest Road around 7:30 p.m.

Fort Wayne Police shut down part of St. Joe Center to clean up the accident.

Indiana Michigan Power crews continue working to restore power. Currently, about 150 residents are still out of service.
