Sexual Assault Investigation After Man & Women Put In Same Jail Cell

MARION, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- In Indianapolis, Indiana State Police are investigating a sexual assault at the Marion County Jail after a woman was mistakenly put in same cell as a male inmate.

Authorities say within minutes of being put together, jail staff interrupted sexual activity between the two.

The man who is jailed on an auto theft charge says the woman consented. The woman who was arrested on a prostitution charge says she didn't.
