If you're a roller coaster enthusiast, it's hard to beat Cedar Point. However, like all amusement parks, you can't ride the most popular attractions without waiting in line.
Like many amusement park's, Cedar Point now offers park guests an opportunity to "move to the front of the line". The "Fast Lane" pass can be purchased (along with a park ticket) and allows guests to dramatically shorten their wait times.
We tried the Fast Lane passes on an overcast Friday when the average wait time was approximately 35-45 minutes for the major rides. What we found was a dramatically different park experience - with the longest wait time being 10-15 minutes for the Top Thrill Dragster. Essentially, the Fast Lane wristband lets you bypass the line and move right to the platform, depending on the ride, this can be anything from a 15-minute wait to walking right on the ride. On a busier day, the Fast Lane pass would make an even bigger difference if you're looking to ride the biggest rides. That convenience does not come cheap, a single Fast Lane pass sells for $65, in addition to the cost of a park ticket (there's a discount if you purchase more passes). All of the top rides are included as "Fast Lane" rides and there is no limit on the amount of times you can ride.
Fast Lane Pricing:
1 Fast Lane Pass $65
2 Fast Lane Passes $60 each
3 Fast Lane Passes $55 each
4 or more $50 each
