Colo. Theatre Shooting Survivor To Speak On Community Violence (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) -- The city’s latest shooting has community organizations continuing their search for a solution.

Wednesday, community members will receive some advice from Pierce O'Farrell, a survivor of the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting. 12 people were killed in that shooting and O'Farrell will speak on the need for community healing in the wake of such violent acts.

He will speak Wednesday, at 6 p.m. at the Urban League's headquarters at 2135 S. Hanna St. The event is sponsored by the Rescue Mission and the Fort Wayne Urban League.
