Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Just in time for hot weather, leaders with the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation department say they will extend hours at the city's splash pads.
They have received quite a few requests since school was let out.
The splash pads are free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning Thursday.
