Police Arrest Suspect In Stabbing At Bridgeway Lane (with Video)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Police were called to a stabbing at an apartment complex at Bridgeway Lane Wednesday around 11 a.m.

A 19-year-old adult male was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. He is in serious condition.

Initial reports indicate that the 33-year-old adult male suspect forced his way into the apartment of a 20-year-old woman whom he had previously dated. The suspect began to batter the 19-year-old male and stabbed him multiple times with a knife from the kitchen.

The woman was injured with a stab wound to the hand when she attempted to intervene during the attack.

The suspect has been arrested and is currently being held in the Allen County Jail. Multiple charges are pending.
