FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two people surrendered to police officers after a 3-hour standoff with police near downtown Fort Wayne this morning. Police got a report of shots being fired from an apartment home in the 800-block of Lake Avenue around 4:30 this morning. Crisis Response Team and Emergency Services Team officers were not able to make contact with the occupants of the apartment, so they used what they call a "flash bang" stun grenade to get the people to surrender. One man and one woman walked out of the home and surrendered. No one was injured.
