State Fair Investigating Critical Accident

Indianapolis, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Officials with the Indiana State Fair are investigating an accident that happened on Wednesday that left a 4 year old girl in critical condition.

Police say the girl broke free of her mother and was hit by a pick-up truck on an access road.

Fair officials must now determine if extra precautions need to be put in place to prevent a similar incident in the future.
