Louisville, KY (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A man who was involved in a high-speed chase that went through parts of Indiana and Kentucky Wednesday, is now in the hospital.

The chase began in Jeffersonville, Indiana when the man stole a car.

Incidentally the car had a GPS device on it and helped police track the suspect's whereabouts.

The suspect then led police on a two state chase that ended at an apartment building in Louisville.

He barricaded himself in his ex-girlfriend's apartment.

Both she and her mother were inside but were not hurt.

The suspect eventually turned his gun on himself.

He was rushed to the hospital and was last listed in critical condition.
