FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Severe weather prompted tornado warnings and thunderstorm warnings early Tuesday morning, interrupting the good night sleep of residents in Northeast Indiana.

Tornado sirens sounded in Allen County just before 2 a.m.

Similar situations were reported in many of the counties.

21Alive Chief Meteorologist Curtis Smith was on the air providing the latest information, answering your social media questions and sharing photos of storm damage and lightning shows.

Indiana-Michigan Power reports 100 customers without power as of 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Kosciusko County REMC reports all but 20 of its customers are without power as of 7 a.m.

As of 4:18 p.m. Wednesday, the restoration of power in the Fort Wayne area is 90% complete. Full restoration is expected to be complete by 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.
