NEW HAVEN, Ind. (21Alive) - What do you want to be when you grow up? When asking children that question, there are a variety of answers.

Students at New Haven Intermediate School learned about different jobs at Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana's Career Exploration Days on Thursday and Friday.

Third- and fourth-graders went through a series of presentations on different professions that keep a community up and running.

21Alive assignment editor/producer Eric Dutkiewicz gave students a rundown of an average day at a television station. The young Bulldogs also put on their own newscasts, assuming the roles of anchor, reporter, forecaster, sportscaster and photographer.

Students also met with officials from the Indiana State Police, New Haven/Adams Township Fire Department, New Haven/Adams Township Parks & Recreation, St. Joseph Hospital, Sweetwater Sound, AAA Auction Service, Shambaugh & Son and Grinsfelder Associates Architects.
