Brownsburg, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – School officials in Brownsburg intend to pursue a false reporting charge against a student who claimed he was attacked in a bathroom Monday morning, prompting a 90-minute lockdown at the high school.

The student told police he had been attacked in the bathroom, but school surveillance video did not show anyone else entering the restroom.

Police said the boy later admitted to inflicting the injuries on himself.
