WASHINGTON (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with Wal-Mart in a sex discrimination lawsuit.
The high court ruled that 1.5 million past and present female Wal-Mart employees cannot pursue "class action" against the retail giant, in claiming a lack of opportunities for advancement.
Now in the last two weeks of its term, the high court faces a final round of decisions on cases including violent video games, global warming, and drug prescription records.
The justices are expected to hand down decisions in 14-cases that have been argued since November.
