INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (Indiana's NewsCenter)--The 60-year old man wanted for questioning in the shooting of an Indianapolis metro police department office Sunday morning has been taken into custody. Police says Thomas Hardy was located in the 2300 block of Indianapolis Avenue on the city's northwest side. Swat officers took hardy into custody without further incident. Detectives are still processing the scene for evidence.
Indianapolis Metro Police Officer David Moore is in critical condition after he was shot while making a traffic stop at about 9 a.m. in the 3400 block of Temple Avenue.
