WATERLOO, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- The two suspects involved in the shooting of a Waterloo town Deputy Marshal Stephen Brady were driving a car loaded with weapons.
Indiana's NewsCenter obtained a detailed search warrant of what police found in the 1996 Dodge Neon belonging to 41-year-old Ralph Hardiek and 33-year-old Julie Marie King, who is accused of shooting Officer Brady.
Hardiek was shot dead and King was wounded in a police shootout with the suspects earlier this month.
According to the report, a revolver, two rifles, and several knives were recovered from the vehicle along with a book titled, "The Anti-Christ". The report says police also found several .22 caliber bullet cartridges. Other miscellaneous items like zip-ties, nylon rope, a pair of gloves, cell phones and drug paraphernalia were also found.
A digital camera was found as well. The report states there was a picture of King holding a double-barrel shotgun, and a video of Hardiek talking to an unknown female off camera. However, the report doesn't state what Hardiek was talking about.
In addition, Indiana's NewsCenter has confirmed that Officer Brady was released from the hospital Tuesday evening and is now recuperating at home.
