100 Grams Of Synthetic Drugs Found Inside Home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Officers from the Fort Wayne Police Department served a search warrant at 2014 Thompson Ave. on suspicions of drug activity.

When officers entered the residence they found over 100 grams of cannbinoid in an upstairs bedroom. The house was also found to be in very poor condition and the Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement was called and the house was condemned. Fort Wayne Animal Control was also called to take possession of 3 dogs and a cat.

31-year-old David Koker and 22-year-old Heather Bays were arrested as part of the investigation. Koker was charged with 4 counts of dealing synthetic drug and one count of maintaining a common nuisance level 6. Bays was charged with maintaining a common nuisance level 6. James Robinson, who also lives at the residence, was also charged with maintaining a level 6 common nuisance.

Police Chief Garry Hamilton took part in the raid.
