FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Syracuse man has died from days after wrecking his vehicle in rural Kosciusko County.
Corey F. Kneller, 20, died Friday of internal and head injuries from a crash on Sun., Dec. 23. Police say Kneller was driving westbound on CR 800N near CR 400E near Tippecanoe Lake around 3 a.m., failed to negotiate a curve, struck a tree. The car caught fire during the collision.
Kneller was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, but later transferred to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, where he died.
Alcohol is thought to be a factor in the crash, but the Kosciusko County Fatal Accident Crash Team (F.A.C.T) will wait on blood draw results as part of its investigation.
