Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Three Rivers Festival reported a successful nine days worth of events for the 44th year.

By the numbers, over 20,000 attended the starting weekend Art in the Park Crafter's Market and FWMoA's Chalk Walk. And the Three Rivers Festival Downtown Midway saw a 3% increase in attendance despite the record heat during the week. Helicopter rides also saw a 50% increase in riders.

Budget friendly Tuesday saw over 1,200 bargain and fun seekers.

Over 20,000 visitors also attended the popular PNC Children's Fest at IPFW on Friday and Saturday, July 20th & 21st
