Teen Killed, Man Arrested After Shooting Inside Noblesville Home (VIDEO)

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police arrested a 20-year-old man, accusing him of the Sunday night shooting death of 16-year-old Aubrey Peters of Noblesville.

Peters died at St. Vincent Hospital after police say Jacob McDaniel shot her in the chest inside his home. Police say they spoke with witnesses before arresting McDaniel.

McDaniel faces preliminary charges of criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm.

Peters made headlines in 2010 when she helped rescue two young children from Morse Reservoir, after they fell through the ice.
