FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - An unemployed Huntertown woman, who advertised herself in a unique way, has finally landed a job.

Natalie Zehr lost her job at Fort Wayne Newspapers about nine months ago and has been looking for another job ever since.

After Christmas, she made a sign saying "Marketing Professional For Hire" and took it to the streets by standing at major intersections around town. Zehr says she knew she had to do something different to stand out and it worked.

Since her public display, she's received seven e-mails from different companies wanting an interview. Zehr says the job search is competitive and gives some good advice to other job seekers.

"If you've got the experience and you know that you're good enough, keep at it, you've got to keep at it. You can't let people bring you down, you can't let the rejections get to you to the point where you give up. You got to keep at it, you got to remember what you're good at, and do what you need to do," Zehr said.

On Friday, Zehr started working at KPC Media as an event marketer.
