Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Veteran Fort Wayne television news anchor / reporter Linda Jackson is moving to the 21Alive morning news, weekday mornings from 5 – 7 A.M. beginning Monday, August 13th.

She’ll co-host with news anchor Ryan Elijah, meteorologist Chris Daniels and live reporter Jeff Bowman, continuing the tradition of bringing northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio the best and most relevant morning television news.

Linda graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Linda enjoys broadcast journalism because it's a "people business." She chose her career because of that and because of the visual images that go hand in hand in delivering broadcast news, not to mention the immediacy of the medium. She enjoys meeting new people and the variety in her job. No two days are the same. One of her passions is her community work.

She joined WKJG-TV in the summer of 1988 as a producer and reporter before anchoring their morning and noon newscasts and then moving into the evening anchor chair in 1992. She has also served as a newsroom manager.

Fort Wayne is home for Linda, her husband and son. Her interests include reading, sports with her family, circuses and walking.
