Town of Andrews Under Boil Water Advisory

ANDREWS, Ind. (21Alive) - The Huntington County town of Andrews is under a Boil Water Advisory from Friday night through Monday.

The Boil Water Advisory is a result of a large water main break. While the break was fixed Friday night, Huntington County Emergency Management Director Lindsie Goss says the Boil Water Advisory is precautionary for any water that may be in the system prior to the break being fixed.

Residents should boil the water for at least three minutes.

The water is safe for bathing and laundry, Goss adds.
