INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The House Transportation Committee approved a bill to allow a transit referendum in Marion county and the surrounding counties.
There are still questions about how the transit system would be put together and the bill has a few hurdles to jump before it passes. Before it can be voted on, it must pass the "ways and means" committee which will scrutinize the overall cost of the project.
