FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two local Crossfit gyms have combined forces to create a bigger and better community for health and well-being.

Mad Apple Crossfit and Utopian Crossfit are now located in a much bigger space after being a part of the downtown community for a little more than a year. Crossfit is a form of exercise that has become very popular over the past few years and is taking Fort Wayne by storm.

Mad Apple Crossfit says they are excited to share their large community base with people all over Fort Wayne interested in a healthy lifestyle.

"We go back to community and the atmosphere here, we have some great coaches, we have some great members, and I think we do thinks outside of working out that help build that community and make it a fun place to be," says Mad Apple Owner Bobby Petras.

The Co-Owner of Utopian Crossfit says his gym has a great relationship with the Mad Apple Gym because both gyms got their start in Downtown Fort Wayne and were able to support each other.
