(Indiana's NewsCenter) -- As financial losses continue, the U.S. Postal Service is urging the House to quickly pass legislation, that would give it broad authority to close thousands of low revenue post offices, reduce labor costs and end Saturday deliveries.
A bill passed by the Senate last week provides the Postal Service with $11 billion To help pay down debt, but halts closings of mail processing centers and post offices.
Those closings are a critical part of the post service's cost cutting plan
