Dallas (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Susan G. Komen Foundation underwent a shakeup in its top leadership.
Komen President Liz Thompson has announced she will leave the organization in September.
And Founder and C.E.O. Nancy Brinker will be shifting to a new management role, while two members of the board of directors also announced they would be leaving.
The change at the top comes after a controversial decision in January to cut funding from Planned Parenthood.
Komen was blasted for the decision, and reversed its position days later.
