Indianapolis (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A 14-year-old driver has been arrested in Indianapolis after three other teenagers were injured in a car accident.

The accident happened along a street in Indianapolis where neighbors said people often speed.

Police said the driver was just 14-years-old, unlicensed and had three teens in the car with her when she lost control of the car and hit a tree.

Witnesses said the car burst into flames, and that the driver was speeding down the road just prior to the accident.

After the driver was released from the hospital, she was arrested on three counts of criminal recklessness causing serious bodily injury and one count of operating a vehicle having never received a license.

One of the crash victims remains in critical condition. The two others are reportedly in stable condition.
