ELKHART, Ind. (21Alive) -- Hundreds attended a candlelight vigil held in honor of the victims of this week's shooting at a Martin's Super Market in Elkhart.

The vigil was held Saturday night at the same scene where two women, Martin's employee Krystal Dikes, and shopper Rachelle Godfread were shot and killed only three days before.

A sea of people turned up to honor the memories of the women by lighting candles, signing posters, and telling stories about them.
Family members say they were extremely moved by the outpouring of support. Many vigil goers remarked that strength seemed to resonate among the community members who were there.
