WARSAW, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Warsaw man was killed Sunday night while operating a skid-steer on his farm, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff.
It happened just before 7 p.m. in the 1600 block of East County Road 225 south.
Officers found 65-year-old John Bud Elliott crushed between hydraulic bucket arms and the bodywork of the equipment.
The deputy coroner believes Elliott had been exiting the front of the skid-steer when his clothing got caught on an operating lever and he was pinched between the machinery.
The coroner pronounced Elliot dead from blunt force trauma to the chest.
The incident is still under investigation.
