Warsaw Man Dies After Crashing Into A Utility Pole

WARSAW, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Warsaw man died Thursday night when he crashed his car into a pole.

Shaun Owens, 32, was pronounced dead on County Road 350 W., just north of County Road 200 N. in Kosciusko County.

Police found his mangled car in a cornfield.

Police say witnesses told them Owens lost control of his car as he came over a small hill, overcorrected and slammed into the utility pole.

Owens had been wearing his seat belt, but the impact of the crash threw him partially out of the car.
