ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Allen County health officials confirmed a human case of the West Nile Virus.
Mosquito groups have tested positive for the potentially deadly virus in 31-Indiana counties.
Health Department officials are urging you to protect yourself from mosquito bites by wearing appropriate clothing and using bug spray.
The disease does not usually spread from person to person.
Symptoms include high fever, headache, body aches and a rash.
One human case was also confirmed in Marion County as well.
