60-Year-Old Woman Injured In Shooting (PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21ALIVE) - A woman is injured after a shooting on the city's southeast side.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday night in the 3700 block of Trace Circle.

The victim told 911 dispatch that someone had knocked on her door and when she went to answer it she was shot through the door. Police found bullet holes in both garage doors of the duplex and damage to the brick as well.

Police say some of the damage appeared to have been done with a shotgun, handgun and rifle.

The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition with a wound to her leg and hand.
