Worker Not Seriously Injured After Falling Into Waste Water Treatment Tank

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A contracted worker was not seriously injured after he fell into a waste water treatment tank at the city's pollution control plant on Dwenger Ave..

Initial reports indicated an "industrial accident" happened at the pollution control facility when an employee fell into a 30 ft. empty water treatment tank.

Rescue teams were called in but dispatch canceled the rescue team after the employee was able to get of the tank
