Warsaw, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Warsaw police and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office are currently investigating the death of a young child that was found unresponsive at the home of his babysitter.

Detectives were dispatched to the home Monday afternoon after a 911 call was placed about an unresponsive two-year-old.

Preliminary results from an autopsy that was conducted late Tuesday afternoon at the Northeast Regional Forensic Center found accidental death due to positional asphyxia. At this time police believe the incident to be accidental in nature and do not believe that foul play is involved. The case remains under investigation.

The final autopsy and lab results are pending.
