INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Will the next governor push for an amendment opposing gay marriage?
At a news conference Thursday to announce new members of his cabinet, Governor-Elect Mike Pence, who has stated his oppostion to same sex marriage, hinted that the amendment would not be a key part of his legislative agenda.
Pence says, "Let me comment on that after decisions are made at the Indiana General Assembly this year on what they want to address and when. My position on that issue is well known. But I just think now is the time for Hoosiers to focus on getting this economy moving."
Pence takes the oath of office next month.
