Baker Street Steakhouse Expands Hours And Workforce

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Baker Street Steakhouse on north Clinton Street is usually only open for dinner but now they're opening at 11 am for lunch.

The new hours mean 20 new jobs and many part-time workers will become full-time.

Sales at the restaurant are up 18-percent and managers think it's a great time to try something new.

Baker Street Manager, James Khan says, “We thought it was something that this side of town really needed. A nice place that you can go out and have a casual lunch or do a business lunch with our private dining areas. We thought that we'd have something that we can offer.”

Baker Street is open Monday through Saturday.
