UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Dollar General has big expansion plans for 2011 which includes the creation of 6,000 new jobs nation-wide.
Officials say they'll also be opening 625 new stores across the country.
While the exact locations aren't being released just yet, they say Indiana is key to the Dollar General Corporation, referencing 2010's opening of a distribution plant in Marion.
Company officials say Dollar General has created more than 15,000 new jobs nationally over the past two years.
They are also planning to remodel or relocate 550 stores in 38 states including Indiana.
