ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - If you turn-65 by the end of the year, you have until Friday to file Allen County Property Tax Exemptions for 2011.

There are requirements you need to meet, like providing your tax return for last year for all the co-owners of the home.

But if you've retired and have a lower income, you might be eligible to file for this for the first time.

If you received the exemption last year, you will automatically get it this year, unless you move.

If you have questions about Allen County Property Tax Exemptions, call the Auditor's Office at 449-7241.
