DETROIT (Indiana's NewsCenter) - General Motors is one step closer to once again becoming a public company.
Company leaders filed the paper work just a short time ago that will allow them to begin selling stock.
Last week's change in CEOs delayed the action with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for several days.
There's no word on when you will be able to buy shares of the new GM, but it's been speculated it could happen by the end of the year.
